Meet Elyse!
Elyse Wahlquist Van Wagenen M.A. CCC-SLP
Co-founder of Chatter Pediatric Therapy is a Florida licensed and American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist based in the Tallahassee and Crawfordville area. She received her B.A. from Brigham Young University and her Masters in Speech and Language Pathology from The George Washington University.
As a Tallahassee native, Elyse is thrilled to be back working in her hometown. Elyse was raised watching her mom touch so many lives in this community with her work as a pediatric physical therapist and is honored to be serving alongside her. As a pediatric SLP, she has experience working in both schools and private practice settings as well as home-based early intervention with a speciality in a parent-coaching model. Elyse is passionate about creating a learning environment that fosters independence and connection while providing quality therapy based on research and evidence. She finds joy in parent education and empowerment and loves to create partnerships with families to provide the best outcomes.
Meet Hammadah!
Hammadah Wahlquist, M.S., CCC-SLP
Co-founder of Chatter Pediatric Therapy is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist who is licensed in both Florida and Missouri. Hammadah earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida State University.
As a pediatric SLP, she has experience working in both schools and private practice settings as well as home-based early intervention. Hammadah also worked as an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) facilitator specializing in acquiring communication systems for children in the school setting. As a parent of a child with autism, Hammadah is passionate about mitigating the gap in therapy in underserved and rural populations as well as parent education and advocacy.
